How to Stop Horse Riding Helmets Causing an Itchy Scalp
As they get older, the soft fabric lining of your equestrian / horse-riding helmet slowly absorbs oils from your scalp and hair, skin residues, hair products and general dust and grime.
This becomes a breeding ground for bacteria... they likes it in there!
Each time your helmet is worn millions of bacteria are pressed tightly against your scalp where it's warm and moist. This creates optimal conditions for itch and irritation.
So what do you do? Have a good old scratch of course.
